Effective Date: January 30, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "your") and Livor ("we," "our," or "us") governing your use of our watch repair and restoration services and our website. By engaging our services or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services or website. You must be at least 18 years of age or have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under applicable law to use our services.

2. Definitions

  • "Services" refers to all watch repair, servicing, and restoration services provided by Livor.
  • "Timepiece" or "Watch" refers to the mechanical or automatic watch submitted for service.
  • "Scope Document" refers to the detailed service proposal outlining work to be performed, timeline, and pricing.
  • "Agreement" refers to these Terms together with any Scope Document.
  • "Client Property" refers to any watch or components submitted to us for service.

3. Service Description

We provide specialized watch repair, servicing, and restoration services for mechanical and automatic timepieces. Our services include but are not limited to thin watch specialist service, comprehensive caliber overhauls, and complete restorations.

Service availability is subject to our assessment of the watch's condition and our technical capabilities. We reserve the right to decline service if we determine that we cannot properly service the timepiece or if the required work falls outside our area of expertise.

4. Service Process

4.1 Initial Assessment

All services begin with an initial assessment of your timepiece. We will evaluate its condition, identify service requirements, and provide you with a detailed Scope Document outlining the proposed work, estimated timeline, and pricing including any necessary parts.

4.2 Scope Approval

Work proceeds only after you have reviewed and approved the Scope Document. Your approval, whether written, verbal, or electronic, constitutes authorization to proceed with the described services.

4.3 Additional Work

If unexpected conditions are discovered during service that require additional work beyond the approved scope, we will contact you for authorization before proceeding. Any additional work will be quoted separately.

4.4 Timelines

Service timelines provided in the Scope Document are estimates based on normal conditions. Actual completion time may vary due to parts availability, complexity of issues discovered, or other factors beyond our control. We will communicate any significant timeline changes promptly.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Pricing

All prices are quoted in New Taiwan Dollars (NT$) and include labor and standard service procedures. Replacement parts, if required, are quoted separately. Prices are valid for 30 days from the date of the Scope Document.

5.2 Payment Schedule

Payment is due upon completion of services before the timepiece is returned to you. We accept cash, bank transfer, and credit cards. For extensive restoration projects, we may require a deposit before commencing work.

5.3 Uncollected Watches

If a completed watch remains uncollected for more than 90 days after notification of completion, we reserve the right to charge a storage fee. Watches uncollected for more than one year may be disposed of in accordance with Taiwan law, with proceeds applied to outstanding charges.

6. Client Responsibilities

As the client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the watch's history, condition, and any known issues
  • Disclose any previous repairs or modifications
  • Respond promptly to communications regarding your service
  • Review and approve the Scope Document before work proceeds
  • Collect your watch within a reasonable time after service completion
  • Pay all charges promptly upon completion

7. Warranty and Guarantees

7.3 Service Warranty

We warrant that services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner using appropriate tools and techniques. Serviced watches are warranted for a period of one year from the date of service against defects in our workmanship only.

7.2 Warranty Limitations

Our warranty does not cover damage from accidents, misuse, improper handling after service, unauthorized repairs by others, or normal wear and tear. The warranty is void if the watch case is opened by anyone other than us during the warranty period.

7.3 Parts Warranty

Replacement parts are warranted according to the manufacturer's warranty terms, typically one year. We are not responsible for defects in parts beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Taiwan law, our total liability for any claims arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.

We are not responsible for the loss of sentimental value, theoretical market value fluctuations, or any value beyond the fair market repair or replacement cost of the timepiece or components.

9. Risk and Liability for Client Property

While your watch is in our possession, we maintain appropriate security measures and insurance coverage. However, we are not liable for loss or damage due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, fire, theft despite security measures, or force majeure events.

We recommend that clients maintain their own insurance coverage for valuable timepieces. We can provide documentation for insurance purposes upon request.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and technical documentation, is the property of Livor or its content suppliers and is protected by Taiwan and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

11. Disclaimers

Our services are provided on an "as is" basis. While we exercise professional care and skill, we make no guarantees regarding specific performance outcomes, timing accuracy improvements, or restoration results beyond what is explicitly stated in the Scope Document.

We are not responsible for the authenticity, originality, or provenance of watches submitted for service. Clients represent that they are the rightful owners or authorized agents for any watches submitted.

Nothing in our communications or service documentation constitutes professional advice regarding the investment value, authenticity verification, or appraisal of timepieces.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement before work commences by providing written notice. If you choose to terminate after work has begun but before completion, you will be responsible for payment of work completed to that point plus any non-returnable parts ordered.

We reserve the right to terminate service and return your watch if we discover conditions that make safe or proper servicing impossible, or if you fail to respond to communications regarding necessary decisions about your service.

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Taipei, Taiwan.

13.2 Informal Resolution

Before pursuing formal legal action, parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation. Please contact us with any concerns so we can work toward a mutually satisfactory resolution.

14. General Provisions

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any Scope Document and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Livor regarding our services.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Services already in progress at the time of changes remain subject to the Terms in effect when the service was authorized.
